Role Experience
After graduating with a degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Utah, I stepped into the role of Event Sales and Communications Manager at The Leonardo Museum. During my time at university, I had the opportunity to organize multiple events and fundraisers, which prepared me to dive headfirst into the world of high-end events. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of managing everything from award shows, galas, and red carpets to fashion shows and corporate events—almost everything in between. The role gave me thick, but flexible skin and taught me how to face every challenge with a strategic, solution-oriented mindset.

In this position, I coordinated and managed the full lifecycle of events, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. I developed targeted email campaigns to drive bookings, nurtured strong client relationships through tailored communication and sales strategies, and consistently exceeded revenue goals. I also tracked key performance indicators to refine our approach and guide data-informed decisions. Internally, I worked to keep cross-functional teams aligned through clear and consistent communication, while also handling the day-to-day logistics like scheduling, vendor coordination, and contract management. This role shaped me into a confident, creative problem solver!
