Earning my Bachelor’s degree in Communication with an emphasis in Strategic Communication has been one of the most formative experiences in my professional development. This program helped me build a strategic mindset grounded in storytelling, branding, and client relations—skills I now apply across creative and communications work.
The University’s Department of Communication is ranked in the top 20 domestically and top 30 globally and I was fortunate to be part of a program that combined academic excellence with hands-on experience. The Strategic Communications emphasis "serves students who are interested in pursuing knowledge of public relations, advertising, marketing, event planning, and campaign design/evaluation… [and] helps students understand branding, media buying, copywriting, and other skills related to the professional practice.”
